Wildlife Media’s feature-length film, BEARTREK follows renowned Bellingham-based bear biologist and naturalist Chris Morgan on a motorcycle adventure across four continents to understand and conserve the rarest bears on earth. Chris’ daring adventures are astounding and his dedication to bear conservation is highly contagious!

Join us for this exciting event and dance along with the usual grooves of Lucky Monday’s and the Lucky Brown band, brought to you by the Funk Revolution!

BEARTREK is much more than just a film. It’s an awareness and fund-raising campaign about bears. Donations to Wildlife Media help to fund innovative bear conservation projects as well as the production of BEARTREK and its associated education elements. Profits from BEARTREK will be pumped right back into priority bear conservation projects in places like Peru, India, and Borneo.

Wildlife Media is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization that produces energetic, epic films about the natural world, and helps to fund critical wildlife projects internationally.

Cascadia Fair Trade Gathering

The Cascadia Local Fair Trade Gathering will explore domestic fair trade and the potential benefits to local agriculture and consumers. Speakers include Erik Esse, Coordinator of The Local Fair Trade Network in Minneapolis, MN and Ernesto Bustos, Community Organizer of Centro Campesino, located in Owatonna Minnesota. Moderated by Rosalinda Guillen, Executive Director, Community-to-Community Development.

Where: The event will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 2750 McLeod Rd in Bellingham.

When: Saturday November 1st

  • Meeting is from 3pm-6pm – Free to the public
  • Dinner and entertainment at 6 PM – By donation
